Job Description: Encore Repair Services, LLC seeks New Products Quality Engineering Supervisor to manage NPT projects at our Elgin, IL facility. Manage programs and activities related to process implementation and process set up. Perform day-to-day operations management of New Product Testing line. Hire and manage team. Monitor and maintain specialized testing equipment including ATTS – Automatic Triage Test System for residential gateways, ETTS – Extended Temperature Test System for residential gateways, WIFI test machines for residential gateways, Fiber Test Machines for residential gateways, and Control and Monitor Customer Experience lab. Develop and execute new tests for current market and new products. Provide detailed feedback to production operations and customers on findings. Lead and attend internal and external meetings and calls. Provide detailed customized reporting to customer. Design and establish production line layouts and process flows. Manage external testing of OEM units. Maintain operations in compliance with RIOS/R2 & ISO TL9000 certifications. Perform statistics process analysis. Provide Risk Assessments and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) analysis. Perform process sign off for new technology or equipment in the NPT line. Develop, create and maintain tracking system for NPT projects. Design and maintain inventory control procedures and inventory balances. Provide corrective action when process does not meet goals. Train personnel to fulfill knowledge requirements for NPT process. Utilize Excel programing knowledge. Perform APQP Processes. Solve industrial engineering problems related to new product testing and quality. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Annual Salary: $106,000.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field plus two years of industrial quality engineering management experience in:
- ISO auditor TL9000 environment;
- Excel programing knowledge in Visual Basic;
- APQP process experiences;
- Providing Risk Assessments and Process Failure Mode Effect and Analysis;
- Hiring and managing engineering teams;
- Providing detailed customer reporting;
- Managing external testing of OEM units;
- Maintaining operations in compliance with RIOS/R2 and ISO TL9000;
- Training engineers on NPT processes;
- Designing production line layouts and process flows;
- Delivering written and verbal presentations of findings to engineers and non-engineers.

Summary:
Under the leadership of the Quality Manager, the Quality Trainer / Compliance Specialist carries out responsibilities in the following quality functional areas of training and compliance within our Elgin, IL facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities – In this position you will:
Ø Prepare training presentation and materials based on the current processes.
Ø Instructing the employees in the onboarding process
Ø Maintain training system and appropriate training documentation.
Ø Conduct surveys, interviews, and review employee performance to validate the effectiveness of the training.
Ø Write/update procedures, processes, work instructions, forms, templates, etc.
Ø Perform periodic process audits and internal compliance audits to maintain document in compliance with ISO standard.
Ø Conduct material receiving inspections
Ø Assists in the periodic inspection of manufacturing areas, to ensure that they are operated according to TL9000 standard.
Ø Conduct preventive and corrective actions investigations
Ø Write/update procedures, processes, work instructions, forms, templates, etc.
Ø Supervise trainers and inspectors.
Background/Experience – To qualify for this position, you will need to have:
Ø Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Ø 2-5 years related job experience
Ø Experience with ISO9001:2015 is preferable.
Ø Bilingual: English and Spanish
Ø Good communication and writing skills
Ø Organized work habits and ability to multi-task
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft office (word, excel, power point)
Ø Schedule 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Onsite.
