Summary:
Under the leadership of the Engineer, the Technician II, carries out responsibilities in troubleshooting electronics, IT and Manufacturing support within our Elgin, IL facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities – In this position you will:
- Perform equipment’s preventive maintenance (Testers Preventive Maintenance)
- Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
- Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
- Writing up reports.
- Perform fault analysis
Background/Experience – To qualify for this position, you will need to have:
- Analytical Skills
- Must have a high level of Excel and navigating IT equipment
- Troubleshooting as technician (electronics, IT support or manufacturing support)
- Writing up reports
- Degree as tech support or electronics technician is a plus
